Speaking Plan!!


PLAN Nº 6/ DATE: 21ST MAY/ TRAINEE: ZACNUN, ARIANA /LESSON AIM: TO DEVELOP SPEAKING SKILLS (A radio interview)

PRE-
SPEAKING
1.1 The T will make a short revision of the adjectives dealt with the previous lesson from page 46 by playing hangman.

1.2 The T will ask ss to do ex1 on page 47 in which ss have to look at the 2 pictures proposed by the book and she will ask ss to describe these pictures using the adjectives from page 46, ex 3.

1.3 Then, the T will ask ss to do ex 2 on page 47 in which ss have to do a survey about the place where they live.

1.4 The T will ask ss to do ex 3 in which the different pairs are expected to compare their findings.
1.1 SS will play hangman to recycle the adjectives dealt with the previous class.

1.2 SS will do ex 1 on page 47 in which ss will look at the pictures on the book and they will describe the pictures using the adjectives from ex 3 on page 46.

1.3 SS will do ex2 on page 47 in which there is a survey to carry out about the places where they live.

1.4 SS will do ex3 in which they have to compare their findings.

WHILE-
SPEAKING
2.1 The T will ask ss to look at ex 4 on page 47 in which ss will be interviewing themselves using the findings gathered in 1.4
The T will give some time for ss to rehearse their dialogues.

2.2 The T will ask ss to do ex5 on page 47 in which each pair will report their interviews to the whole class.
The T will write on the bb

The T will ask ss to give a mark from 1 to 5  to each interview:
2.1 SS will look at ex 4 on page 47 in which ss will be interviewing themselves using the findings gathered in 1.4. They will rehearse the interviews.

2.2 SS will do ex 5 on page 47 in which each pair will report their conversations to the whole class.

  1. It is a great speaking plan. I like the part when students go the front and report their interviews to the whole class. It was also great that you gave the ones listening a task, so that everyone payed attention and participated.
