PRE- LISTENING (To set the context for the task)	1.1 The T will write on the bb the name of the places that appear on page 48 (The Maldives, Mexico, India) She will elicit any information the ss may know about these places.	1.1 SS will say any information they may have about the 3 places proposed in this page. WHILE- LISTENING (To listen for specific information)	2.1 The T will tell ss that they are going to hear 3 people from these places and that they must work out which person comes from which place. (ex 5, page 48) 2.2 The T will ask ss to listen again and complete the chart in ex 6 page 48.	2.1 SS will hear about 3 people and they will have to work out where they come from. 2.2 SS will listen again and complete the chart on ex 6 page 48.	Reading Completing To listen for specific information.
POST- LISTENING (To draw the lesson to a conclusion)	3.1 Pre-writing: The T will ask ss to show the information they have brought about their favourite cities. She will ask: Which city have you chosen? Where have you taken the information from? SS will get in groups of 3 and share the findings they have brought about the city they will be writing about. They will decide on: What they will talk about. The information they will need. Pictures or photos. 3.2 The T will ask ss to go to page 127 to see the Writing Gym because they are going to write a wall display  similar to the one of Ireland. The whole class together will read the model. 3.3 The T with the whole class will design the layout of the wall display. 3.4 While-writing: The T will ask ss to start writing about the cities they have chosen using the information they have and paying attention to the layout provided by the book. Post-Writing: The T will tell ss that they will be using this wall display for an ICT task later on.	3.1 SS will say which city they have chosen and where they have taken the information from. They will get in groups of 3. 3.2 SS will look at the Writing Gym   section on page 127. 3.3 SS will design the layout of the wall display. 3.4 SS will start writing about the cities using the information they have brought and paying attention to the model of wall display provided by the book. SS will be using the wall display for an ICT task later on.
